Do we replace car seats or not?

We were involved in an accident the other day but the seats were not anchored in the car (twins were at school) myhusband was going to remove them and clean them after taking me back to work. The damage was to the front of the vehicle (hood,fender and motor). The airbags were broken so did not deploy! The seats fell all around the backseat but there is no visable damage that I can see. Now, since the other person was at fault and AAA is assuming liability, I only want to replace the seats if absolutely necessary.....thanks!
