How much would this cost?

I am looknig at buying a 2003 Tiburon but according to the seller he blew the right hand transaxle off the tranny which obviously needs replaced and has rust along the bottom of the doors and the right rear fender.how much will it cost to fix? should i just repalce whole transmission? (hes sellnig car for 1800)
